Hannibal tops Missouri’s best tourist spots list

We all know how awesome Hannibal is, so it’s no surprise that he tops the list of the best tourist spots to visit in Missouri.

Mark Twain, the little shops, the cave, and the riverboat are just a few of the reasons Hannibal lands at number 4 on the list of places to visit in Missouri. We all already know that and why we sometimes take the city for granted because, well, we live here and see it every day. There is so much history, events, and other tourist activities to do, which is why Hannibal is such a great place to visit.

So what are the other places to visit? well, according to Wiki Peaks (the YouTube channel that compiled this list), here is the full top 10.

  1. Grand Lodge of Cedar
  2. Kansas City
  3. Lake of the Ozarks
  4. Annibal
  5. Ozark National Scenic Riverways
  6. Meramec State Park
  7. Branson
  8. Ha Ha Tonka State Park
  9. Mark Twain National Forest
  10. Springfield

Having Hannibal over Branson, Springfield, and Ozark State Park is big business. So I would say the folks behind this list got it right, and thank you for noticing our little town of Hannibal and making it part of your top 10. The video shows why these places made the list and why. reasons why people should visit these places.

We always encourage you to visit Hannibal, even if you live near the city there is always something to discover. I recently rediscovered the Mark Twain cave. I took my daughters and experiencing the tour with them through their eyes was a truly unforgettable moment. So if you’ve been on some of the tours, or the lighthouse steps, or a riverboat tour and now have kids. Take them and experience Hannibal’s adventures as you once did.
