Michigan state football wins Florida transfer DE Khris Bogle

Michigan state football had an eventful early signing day, but Khris Bogle’s Florida transfer entry came as a pleasant surprise.

What a day for Michigan state football fans. We were expecting a big day for the Spartans, but it has met and maybe even exceeded expectations so far.

The early signing day was a success for Mel Tucker and the Spartans due to most of the 2022 pledges that were signed and made official, but also a few high profile targets pledged.

Things started a day earlier when three-star security Malcolm Jones enlisted in Michigan state just a day after disengaging from Virginia Tech. It was basically a flip and a big one because the Spartans are in desperate need of help from the defensive back.

The Spartans then landed three-star Caleb Coley on Wednesday morning as he signed with the green and white, then Mel Tucker announced on his signing day that Zion Youn, a three-star defensive target, had signed with Michigan State. over Missouri.

But there was another defensive end who stole the show Wednesday as Florida defensive end transferred Khris Bogle signed to Michigan State over Kentucky.

There was talk of Bogle choosing Kentucky or returning to Florida after the Gators hired Billy Napier to replace Dan Mullen, but Mel Tucker closed another recruit.

Bogle will be a major football transfer to the state of Michigan

It’s hard to really say which transfers will have immediate impacts (watch the course of the last year) but I have a feeling Bogle is going to be one of the most important newcomers to the portal.

Michigan State needs a pass rush and Bogle brings it in as he had 10 tackles for a loss and seven sacks in his Florida career before entering the portal.

The former top 100 rookie is very talented, but he is now going to be a focal point of Michigan state defense and he is expected to be a scheduled starter for the 2022 season. Having two athletic players like Bogle and Tank Brown who finish the defensive line will be huge for the pass rush in 2022.

Hopefully, this isn’t Michigan State’s only recruiting victory over Kentucky on Wednesday.

Friends, Mel is a closer.
