As part of the contract with Virma, Severnaya Verf must build three longliners of the MT1112XL project
Severnaya Verf shipyard (corporate member of United Shipbuilding Corporation) launched today, September 29, 2022, the main freezer longliner of the MT1112XL project, Gandvik-1, according to IAA correspondent PortNews. The vessel was commissioned by the fishing company Virma (Karelia Fishing Fleet group of companies, KFF group).
The Gandvik-1 longliner has the following characteristics: displacement – 2200 t, length – 59 m, width – 13 m, endurance – 45, performance – 25 t of fish products per day, freezing capacity – about 500 t.
As part of the contract with Virma, Severnaya Verf is to build three longliners of the MT1112XL project. The vessels are intended for fishing in the North, Norwegian and Barents seas. The shipyard is also building an MT1112XL design longliner for Globus LLC.
