X Shore: Swedish electric boat brand opens office at Safe Harbor Newport shipyard

X Shore, a Swedish electric boat brand known for driving connected and sustainable boating with its all-electric boat, the Eelex 8000, today announced that it has established an official North American sales office in Newport in Newport’s famous Safe Harbor shipyard.

According to X Shore, this office will serve as a year-round North American outlet, led by X Shore’s North American sales manager, Patrick DeSocio. As well as being a sales office, X Shore says the location will also be used for VIP events and sea trials, with an Eelex 8000 accessible on land and in the water.

X Shore has established its North American sales office at the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard in Newport, Rhode Island and will be exhibiting at the Newport International Boat Show. For more on X Shore and the Eelex 8000, stop by the X Shore Land Display in the heart of Newport Village at Bowen’s Wharf.

The Eelex 8000 is available now on XShore.com starting at $ 329,000.

“We are delighted that our North American sales office is located in the Safe Harbor Newport shipyard,” North American sales manager Patrick DeSocio said in a statement. “The traffic and visibility of the boats here is first class, and with our office officially open, we are delighted to welcome guests to learn more about X Shore and to offer sea trials for those interested in the Eelex 8000. “

The sales team will manage strategic sales initiatives and organize all X Shore boats in this location and look to employ a strategic workforce over the next two to three years. The X Shore location in Sarasota will remain a logistics base and will be used to help the sales team access the Florida boat show circuit.

X Shore and the North American sales team will be at the Newport International Boat Show from September 16-19 and will be accessible at their shore display located in the heart of Newport Village at Bowen’s Wharf.
